There is an abandoned council house across the street from me.

Now, although that house is empty (when the previous owners left, the druggies next door to me destroyed the insides. It's boarded up.), the house next door isn't.

An old man lives in the house next door.

The kids next door to me (in the druggie house) has TRASHED the outside of the abandoned house and are now taking to throwing things into his garden, jumped into his hedges, throwing stuff at his windows.

He sits in his house with all the lights off so they don't know he's in .

I watched the police come over on Friday, talk to the kids a bit, laugh and joke with them, then get in the car and drive off. Then the kids started trashing the house again. WHILE THEY WERE STILL THERE!

So, LW, if the police won't do anything (and the council, they've been out TWICE) what the fuck can I do?

I don't think there is anything YOU can do, other than do what you're doing, maybe you can talk to some authorities who'll listen to everything you have to say, even about how lightly the police took it when they were there?

That's one thing you can do.

Maybe I'm being really thick, but once they've trashed everything a million times, maybe they'll get bored and go some place else, after a while?

We don't talk to the old man, we just know he lives there and there are 7 people in our house already, so that's not an option. His wife died a few years ago so he literally has no one =/.
