She has been doing this weird howl/meow thing ALL day. She's got food, a freshly cleaned litter box, very fresh water... she's never done this shit before and it's driving me up the wall. Could she be in heat? I have never had a cat that hadn't been spayed/neutered before I got them... so I have no experience in the area. If she is in heat, how long will this ridiculousness last? I'd just go and get her spayed ASAP if I could, but I can't afford it right now. She stays in doors all the time anyway, so she wont go out and get herself pregnant.
