I have a great girlfriend who I really do love. She and I spend so much time together, talk, have fun and tons of great things. But, there is a short term coming up soon where a lot of the people at my school will be gone. She will be gone, along with my room mate. This means I will have a single room for a month. This would be amazing if she was here, but she won't be. I am just so worried that while I will have the single room I will end up doing something with some other girl who will be here during the short term.

Situations like this always make me think of all the awesome things you could do alone. For me, being antisocial is the only way to go something. Temptation is there, and I worry about the same thing. Sure, in reality, I don't doubt that I'd be strong enough to push off temptation, but in my head, sometimes I worry. For me, it's better to say no to a party or a night out of dancing rather than to gamble with years of regret. That's just my take on it, not sure if it helped though. Perhaps you could put in long hours at work? Maybe you could hang out at home and read? Learn to cook? Take a fun class at a local center or community college?
