Hey if i hook my 360 up to my router is there any way I can transfer my game data to my computer so that i can put it on another 360?  I don't have a harddrive just the 256mb of built in memory but i'm getting a 360 elite and i wanna put my game saves onto that system.

1. no you cant do that
2. you can buy a cable that will transfer one hardrives memory to another, as long as they are both Xbox 360 harddrives.
3. you could ahve used just an external harddrive for a computer, but Microsoft is  a jew corporation, out to make more money than they need, so they made ti so only Xbox patented hard drives are compatible with the 360.

No, This is not possible sorry. I have looked into this before and there is actually no way to transfer data between the Xbox Hard drive and another device (or router). The only way I know of that is possible to do this is to buy the Minispy Sata Hard Drive Adapter for Xbox 360..
Information

The Minispy SATA Adapter is a device that allows data transfer between your Xbox 360 Hard drive and your personal computer.
When used with powerful file management software currently available such as Xplorer 360 (included), the Minispy allows you to:

- Transfer game saves, screen shots, demos and other media to your PC
- Quickly move mp3's, restore game saves and profiles, and move other data to your Xbox 360 as required
- Back up all important data to your computer in case of catastrophic loss
- Maximize the storage space available on your 360 hard drive

Well I know you can make an adapter cable to connect a ide harddrive so i might just do that, my dad knows how to make the cable.  But I still wanna get a different 360 because i got a used one and the dvd drive sounds like its gonna quit soon it sounds like shit so i wanna go buy a brand new one.  But if i connect a harddrive to this one can i transfer my game saves from the memory to a drive?

actually holy hell dude, if its just 256 mb, buy a 20 dollar Xbox 360 memory card, and just put ur saves on that and put them to the hard drive.

Well i'm gonna bring my old xbox back to where i got it from before i buy a new one lol.  But i think i have an idea of what to do now.  I'm gonna hook up my own hard drive to it after i make an IDE adapter.
