My Grandad died this afternoon and im only just getting over my grandmothers death who I was very close to and im absolutely heartbroken, but tomorrow I have my english gcse at school and I know my head will be a wreck, but if I do the gcse tomorrow and fail I will have to resit at a foundation level as I am doing the higher, but should I be re entered in the summer for the higher when my head is a bit more cleared... I dont know what to do for the ebst...please help

Can you not apply for a special consideration form? They take into account family tragedy and other things that may affect your performance in exams.
Talk to your teacher or someone you trust at school first thing tomorrow morning, they could help you out with this stuff.
