Yes, generally we do. I'm not going to speak for everyone, but the reasoning for me deleting them would be the fact that you have the ability to message people yourself. There is no need to create a topic asking people to message you. This comes across as attention seeking, annoying, and requesting conversation. The forums are used for talking back and forth in topics, and you can always use then to meet new people. Not asking people to message you. As has been said, this isn't a chatroom, and I doubt we have intentions on making it even close to one.
