Whining about nothing because they took out everything, exactly. It's forcing us to play like console gamers, not just completely ignoring but actively rescinding all the features that separate PC gaming from console gaming. You consider it whining about nothing because you don't particularly give a shit about how your game runs, so long as you can jump about and frag noobs. IW have massively betrayed the community that made them, they've shattered it. I wouldn't even waste my bandwidth pirating MW2.

uhh... yea, there's a reason I don't play on consoles, and it's basically because it's not better than playing on a "small" (you've clearly not seen my monitors) computer screen, mouse and keyboard, modless, and it's definitely not better playing 20ft away from a "big hdtv." In fact, it's 20x worse, because the difficulty level is capped by the hardware. The inability to turn at a natural speed is frustrating beyond end, and the lack of responsiveness with aiming or the ability to change dpi on the fly... basically, there's a very good reason I'm not like you. Consoles are shit for FPS. Yes, they took out mods. They didn't provide dedi server software. They've limited the number of players to 18. They even took out the console! We can't kick or ban players, and one of the players is hosting, which gives them a ping advantage and in all likelihood due to pedestrian upstream connections, gives everyone else a shit poor ping. What did they do? Didn't they release it on PC..? I agree with you 100% that FPS is better on PC (it is a lot easier to aim with a mouse then a thumb stick.) Although if you really wanted to you could buy one of those adapters that lets you play Xbox 360 or PS3 with a Keyboard & Mouse.

They did, but they removed:
- server browser
- Lean
- Can only edit some cvars now (can't change fov stuck at shitty 65)
- Can't kick people
- Dedicated Servers
- Mod tools
- Limited to 9v9 while other versions had 32v32
- No /record
and most of the 'features' in MW2 were already in mods in MW eg nuke and riding in the helis edit: Lol already hacks out for PC version ahahha Post edited at 8:35 am on Nov. 11, 2009 by oink

PC Gamers think they deserve special treatment, special games customised for them. They already get the game for cheaper than console owners, and there's nothing wrong with them getting exacty the same game. It's still brilliant and I don't see why all PC users are complaining.
