I know. Sounds like our discussions in sociology. Even the BBC is quite obviously biased (right wing).

It's actually a joke. This is why people shouldn't fall for the lies and insane stories that the media create. Media is all about perception at the end of the day. It's up to us, as media consumers, as to whether we fall for it. Therefore the influence is based within us as individuals.

Its not the influence thats the issues, its the ideologies that is the problem. Read my second last topic to know what I mean.
That in itself is a belief, not a fact. Perhaps the people only except it because they're ignorant, or somewhat lazy to challenge it otherwise. Whether you like it or not the images portrayed to us are doctored to make us feel such a way. I don't think it's impossible to group everything together under one umbrella to state it's the ideologies or whatever. Everything affects us, yes. The media is a game for money makers. Like during the Blair campaign The Sun backed Labour just like it's doing now with Cameron. It's just a game, unfortunately.

Blair was indisputably right winged, as is Cameron.

I didn't say he wasn't. I was using the example. Fact of the matter is it all boils down to money.

Well no, it disproves your point. You were making out he was just doing it for the money and that he supported Tony Blair and then Cameron. While in fact he supported two right winged parties which just goes to show that his political compass came into play. That could have nothing to do with money.
