ok im just wondering if your driving behind a bus and it runs a red light and u follow it threw the light because u cant see that the light is red do u get a ticket as well as the bus driver ?

I asked this question when I took my driving test several years ago, and the instructor told me that you will in fact get a ticket because you are supposed to stay a certain distance behind a bus when driving. If you do get a ticket, it would be deemed as "following too close behind a bus."

Could be ticketed for following too close to the bus.  Or for running the red, just because you can't see doesn't change your actions.

You shouldn't be following a large vehicle too closely to not see stop lights and stuff.

This, minus the experience. Also, you'd probably get a pair of tickets. One for the distance, and one for the red light running.
