I got a couple happy birthday's from my friends at school, and my mom got me a cake and some stuff whiich I'm grateful for, but no one else seems to care.

Now I told my mom I didn't want a party or anything this year, but now I'm wondering... none of my family has called. I saw my cousin at school today and he didn't say anything. I mean, I remember his birthday.

This isn't normal is it? I shouldn't feel sad and all that shit on my birthday.

I told you so; this will be my world

It is normal for everyone I think because people always expect too much from their bday and everything of course becomes a disappointment then.

No one ever tells me Happy Birthday.
They're all more occupied with the holiday my birthday happens to fall on.

Every year a birthday gets a little less attention... except for 21, that is. just my opinion. My 19th birthday sucked... was bored all day long. I wish that one day somebody will throw me a surprise party... i mean at least all of my friends have gotten one. My best birthday was when I turn 6... I had a huge pool party with everyone I knew and loved... those days are over... but are they?

Not really. I mean I forget my sisters birthday and a lot of people's birthday. People have a lot on their minds, and it's not that they don't "care" it's just that they don't think "oh, I wonder if anyone's birthday is today."

Don't feel so bad. My grandparents and my Aunt forgot my birthday last year, I didn't care. I mean birthdays are always forgotten, it's just something as you get older that tends to be forgotten. It's not like people don't care though.
