Why is around this time of year I feel like this?

A year tomorrow I tried to OD.

A friend stopped me.

This year i have everything I could of ever wanted.

Yet I feel the same.

And it's hurting people but I don't know what to do..

(Btw it's a repost because nobody has actually provided any support, even though it's a support site)

I'm in love

Going to war, to prevent war, was the most stupid thing I ever heard.

It feels the same because you are simply reminded of the past, this time of year for you makes all those memories flood back. Sometimes we fall so deep into our memories that it feels like we are reliving all that heartache and pain all over again.

You are past that point, although you may not be able to surpress your past just yet but when you will this feeling will go away. I am not saying you will forget about what happened because what happened will live with you for the rest of your life, im just saying you will forget the pain and feelings eventually.

Its nothing more then a flashback, a constant reminder of who we were and who we have become.

As Kinky Kitten said, sometimes your past can remind you of things that have occured... maybe this time of year has held many bad memories for you that bring up these kinds of feelings.

But there is something else that I think should be mentioned and you should look into it.  It might apply to you.  Some people do suffer from seasonal depression, or seasonal affective disorder.  Here's just one link, but if you do a quick online search, you will find several others.

I'm sure you've heard of things like the "winter blues"?  There's a reason a term like that came around.  And since this is around winter time, this situation may apply to you.  It's something to consider, and if it applies, you may want to consider talking to a doctor about it.  Anything is worth a try, and maybe medication might be right for you (though I could also personally understand if you don't like this option).

Either way, I just thought that was worth putting out there.  Understanding can sometimes to wonders in helping a situation.  Anyway, I wish I could help more, but those two things are really all that comes to mind.
