The Yankees are known to always be going deep in the playoffs, and the Phillies went last year. How is this at all an exciting world series, as opposed to LA vs LA?

oh i dont know, bcuz each team is the leader in nearly ever category in there respective league, which means there will be lots of scoring, AMAZING pitching and defense, unconventional managing, and these two teams are powerhouses, the best, this is the owrld series baseball NEEDS

.....no shit each team is the leader of their catagory, it's the fucking playoffs. Do you even know anything about baseball? You say there will be lots of scoring and yet you say there will be amazing pitching and defense, which means those two would block out the ''lots of scoring'' department.
Every single year in the world series teams play well, THAT'S WHY THEY ARE IN THE WORLD SERIES.
Baseball needs something exciting like 2 teams from the same city playing for the championship, not two teams that have played in the world series a lot in their past.
Wake up, sucker, and actually learn something about baseball.

do YOU watch baseball, and i have learned something from baseball, its that every team tries to get to the world series, but ultimately 2 earn it, and if the LA teams wanted to be in the world series they shouldve played liked they WANTED to be there, they lost and that means they SUCK and who the fuck wants to see two teams that suck play against each other in the World Series?

Nah really? Teams have to be good in the regular season to be in the world series? WELL GEE, I THOUGHT THEY HAD TO GET TO THE WORLD SERIES BY A LUCKY LOTTERY! A's, Giants, Nationals, and Orioles weren't even close to making the playoffs, why you brought those teams up is beyond me. However, if they did play amazingly enough to make the playoffs, I would have loved to see them play each other, and so would 95% of real hardcore baseball fans.

So now teams that make the pennant suck now? Are you reading what you are saying? The last time I've heard someone say something as stupid as that was a 11 year old bandwagon fan.

Of course any team in the playoffs WANTS to get to the World Series, they played hard enough in the regular season to make it there. The Dodgers and Angels both won 95+ games in the regular season, SINCE WHEN DOES THAT SUCK.

Look up your facts and then come back to this topic with at least some sort of understanding of baseball.
