You have to learn a programming language, depending on what you want to program..

1) Find a motivation, just wanting to learn does not really work, you need a project.
I will help you out and your first assigment is to make a pong game.

2) Learn a language, I would recommend java. Start by learning a simple program that asks you a bunch of options until the user chooses to exit.

3) Learn the syntax of the language.

4) LEARN HOW TO USE GOOGLE AND HOW TO SEARCH (this is important).

5) Start building pong, when you are done you have learned the basics.

After you are done make a 2d scroller. Then make a 2d scroller using Data structures. Then make a simple Opengl program.
