but we are talking about a fetus. It knows nothing about anything outside of the womb, and cannot support itself outside of the womb until the third trimester and third trimester abortions are illegal

WHOA dude, REWIND a second. Research suggests that a fetus CAN feel pain, once it gets to a certain point, and research ALSO suggests that this point can be before the third trimester. If you really believe that it can't feel, I encourage you to watch "The Silent Scream" on youtube. Specifically part III. Its outdated, yes, but its a shocking video, and the procedures are still the same. It is also suggested that a pre-mature baby CAN survive earlier than the third trimester under the right circumstances. And although this is rare, it HAS occurred.

I recently met a 23 week baby. She is now almost 2 and she is doing great. She was still in the window to be aborted when she was born and we completely viable outside her mother. Isn't that the excused used to support abortion? That the baby wouldn't survive outside mom? Often they are capable when they are aborted.

I never did. I simply stated that I know of a baby actually many babies that live when they were born before the deadline for abortion. Pro-abortion people always use the, they wouldn't survive outside of mom etc, but that isn't entirely true.
Of course, my views are not more bullshit than anyone else's. Except that mine aren't just based on skewed opinion.
