Ok so I think I have a general rule figured out but I'm not sure (its for the students I tutor I kind of just know how to do this).

When I convert from imperial to metric I'm always going to multiply by the conversion factor. And when I convert from metric to imperial I'm always going to Divide.

Anyone know?
