okay i know this is probably the wrong section but any imput you know of would be very helpful.

so heres the situation: this girl we were all friends with a while ago basically was harassing everyone, making facebooks to spy on us, and harassing and threatening in there too.

so as a joke a few people made a listing on craigslist basically  just saying im looking for a good time wanna be my chocolate fantasy, and had her number on it.

it was only up for maybe 2-3 mins and then got deleted but shes threatening to take it to the cops, and get us in trouble for prostitution, and forgery.

if it was only up for about 2 mins and was deleted, is there anyway we could honestly get in trouble or arrested for this? seeing as how if she did we could get her for harassment, and faking her identity as well. im just freaking out..anyone know anything if we can get in trouble, or am i just freaking out for no reason?

Eh.. borderline on the forum. Semi-rant

It sounds like your friend was not being very nice with the Facebook situation. Regardless of what you guys did, her behavior was unnecessary.

However, regardless of what SHE did, its not appropriate to make Craigslist listings of that nature for OTHER people, especially with their phone numbers in it. If it's for yourself, by all means, but you shouldn't post one for her without her consent. Really, look at it in comparison. Both what she did, AND what you did, could be viewed as harassment.

In theory, yeah, you could get in trouble for it. You could put her in serious danger. It may seem like a harmless prank, but you never know who might come across her number.

Although I think taking it to the cops might be a little over the top, I definitely think apologies are in order, both from you AND her.

Also, if the Facebook issue continues, I don't know your age, but it might be time to get parents involved. Messing around and being a smart ass is one thing, but threats are not cool.

yes i know it was completely immature and everyone appologized and the listing was only up for literally two minutes and got deleted. i dont want any thing to happen, to anyone. i just kind of want everyone to just leave each other alone and get on with their lives and she is taking this all way too far.
but if she were to get the cops involved for that like she was claiming do you know what would happen?

Impersonation charges most likely of course I've never heard anyone get charged for craigslist jokes. I believe someone posted their grandparents for sale on there before and nothing happened they just took the listing down.

Really hard to say. If she can manage to "prove" that harm was the intent, then yes, you could get in trouble for it.
