2 weeks from tomorrow i will be in court on national adoption day finalizing my beautiful baby sister's adoption=] we are pretty excited, plus we were asked to have tv camera follow my family throughout the whole day so i will be on tv! it is our 6th adoption! welcome to the family

actually they will know their parents if they so chose. they have that option if they're parents are still alive because of the agreement their parents made in court. ALSO, we have adopted so many because they need families. if we did not adopt them they would be in foster homes or in shelters. they were all abused and that is why they are no longer with their birth parents. no need to judge without knowing the story. and yes they all are from the US and so am i.

Some adopted children do know their birth parents.

And even if they don't they WILL know their true parents. You know, the ones who have been there for them during their lives and raised them.

i think it is great what you have done and it must be hard for you to just let another person in but you a better person for doing it and so good to allowing them to have a freash start where they can just be safe [i hope]
