Just skim it, rather than reading it in its entirety. She's not going to quiz you on versus, is she?..
She just wants me to read it so she can say, "see?"
because she thinks Christianity is right, and Islam is wrong. Which is stupid, considering she almost converted to Islam a couple years ago. She won't even be direct about what she's saying "see" too. She just wants to be all, "well, what do you think now?"
maybe I can find it on audiotape and listen to only the interesting parts idk.

Reading it is good as far as knowing what the opposing view is. Maybe read like a chapter a week or something? That way you dont have to read too much too fast, and you can go at your own pace.
*shrug* Even though I am an atheist i think it can be valuable knowledge to know how they think and where they get their ideas from

what's more interesting to me is that the bible and it's stories seem like they are a collection of older myths and tales put together into one huge document.
