I'm looking for a job that can be flexible with my school schedule and education is important to me especially in this economic time.  I got a called today from a law firm that i applied for last week. They will give me a call later this week to set up an interview. It pays 8-9 dollars an hour and its a 40 hr full time job mon-fri...  this job can help me with both work and school  but i'll be taking a paycut from my other job which pays 12/hour but i work 35 hrs a week...  im weighing options here because i do want to go back to school and pursue my career which is paralegal work but i also have to help my mom out with the rent...  so what you guys think here?

Well getting a job surrounded by work you want to go into is what you need to do. It gets you a foot in the door for future references etc... I would take the paralegal job.

If $60 a week isn't going to leave you broke, I'd take this offer. I don't know what your current job is, but if you eventually want to be a paralegal, then having experience in a law firm would be really beneficial for you. Who knows what kind of opportunities you can get later on if you get your foot in the door now.
