Monitors... thinking about taking one apart

I have two samsung monitors that need some working on and since I can't seem to find a tech nearby that won't charge me an arm and a leg... I thought I would at least take a look at the inside of these monitors, as what may be wrong with them should be rather visible.

One monitor supposedly smoked when it was booted up by my boss. I tried turning it on but it was just a blank screen- not much else other than the power light being on.

The other one... well, my lovely 3 year old niece found some lysol and attempted to clean it. I'm afraid it seeped through the bottom and into the buttons... or worse, the circuits. :( Pretty sure this lysol has ammonia in it, which means it could crystallize as it dries up. If I don't get it open and cleaned up... it could (and probably has) ruin the inside big time.

So, I basically need help, advice, whatever I can get that could be of some use. Right now I'm looking it up on google on how to open them, as there doesn't seem to be any screws...

Please and thank you. :)

If they are the old CRT monitors I wouldn't even open it up cause if you don't know what you are doing you will probably electrocute yourself.  If its an lcd go for it.

They're both fairly new; one with a manufactured sticker for 2006 and the other 2008- both LCD.

I have yet to find a video or something that shows how to take them apart... :\
