they still do that in many countries. its part of their culture. doesn't mean its right or that i think its right, but it is what it is. i think it has something to do with keeping the women from cheating on their husbands, because without the clitoris they don't enjoy sex as much, so they have no interest in committing infidelity. something like that. i know, its terrible, but i didn't make it up. don't shoot the messenger.
