Urgh. I'm annoyed. I bought some foundation on saturday. It is the colour 'Creamy Ivory' and looks pale in the bottle, and when I tested it it looked the right tone for my skin. But this morning I did my makeup, then looked in the mirror and I was like I looked bloody orange! Ergh. I do have pale skin, but I didn't think it was so pale that creamy ivory would make me look orange!
That colour is '40' whereas natural is '75' so what the hell?

Do you think I put too much on or something? I took it off and then put on some tinted moisturizer and a thin layer of that foundation and I think it looked ok then.. whenever I looked in the mirror at 6th form I just looked pale (my normal skin tone).

Any help?   It's my worst nightmare to end up looking orange..

You use the same foundation and colour as me. You've just put a bit too much on and you must have been standing in really crappy light. Natural light is always best. If you want a colour that's wont look as orange go for the next colour up, warm almond i think it's called (45) it's only slightly darker but has warmer tones. :)

Yeah I think the problem was that you put to much on.
Sometimes that happens to me and it can get annoying.
