I just finished reading the book and now I'm on Anne of Avonlea.

I so wish I lived in that time frame... Avonlea sounds delightful.

Also, this is bringing back memories of the old TV show "Avonlea" and the tv mini series "Anne of Green Gables" (which I have told the parentals I want for Christmas!


Its a fascinating book, by the way.

I remember when reading Anne of Green Gables was a requirement back in like, 9th grade I think it was. It wasn't a bad book...

I loved those books; I'm still waiting on getting the full collection.

There's another series of three books by L.M. Montgomery which are similar: Emily of New Moon. The main character is very much like Anne; her wish is to be a writer. One of my favorite series of all time. You should check those out!
