i have to analyze and interpret this poem for my class tomorrow and i'm kinda stuck.

"Encuentro" de Alejandra Pizarnik
Alguien entra en el silencio y me abandona.
Ahora la soledad no está sola.
Tú hablas como la noche.
Te anuncias como la sed.

i have a rough translation of:
Someone comes in silence and leaves me.
Now the loneliness is not alone.
You speak as the night.
You announce like thirst.

NO, i don't want you to do my homework for me, but i need help.

what i've got so far is structurally:
-hay 4 versos y 4 frases
-los 2 primeros versos tienen palabras que tienen 'a' al principio (the first 2 lines have words that start with an 'a')
-y los siguentes versos tienen palabras que tienen 't' al principio
-al principio del poema, la voz lirica menciona 'alguien', pero en verso 3, 'alguien' cambia a 'tu'

i think she is talking about a lover who left her. and the line 'te anuncias como la sed' refers to how she cannot separate herself from the past, despite the quiet nature with which this person has entered.

i'm stabbing in the dark here and this poem would be hard to analyze if it were just in english

i live in a spanish speaking country...so here it goes:

Someone enters in silence and abandons me
Now loneliness is not alone.
You speak like the night
You Advertise like thirst
[or ''You announce like thirst''

My interpretation:

Someone walks into her life and leaves her. Now the sense of loneliness is not alone, because she joins it because she's lonely. She believes he speaks silent, smooth and quiet [like the night], and he comes announced like thirst [Maybe as in a desire, just like being thirsty]

To me, this sounds like what you said about a lover leaving, but then it sounds like the only consolation the writer can find is in the night.  Whereas the author has moved on like in "the loneliness is not alone."  Also, the title means, "I find" which also makes me thing that she has found her way to move on, that the night comforts her so she isn't alone.
And if it helps, your translation is correct. Hope this helped a little :]

Here's my translation of it:

Someone enters in the silence and abandons me
Now solitude is no longer alone
You speak like the night
You announce yourself like thirst

I think what the writer is trying to say is pretty obvious:

A person isn't physically entering. She's referring to her thoughts and her desires. Someone is entering her thoughts and she feels abandoned because she does not have that person which makes a perfect connection with "soledad" which means she feels lonely; however at the same time she's not completely alone because there's a person in her thoughts. This may seem like a good thing, but it also causes desperation because like she already said this someone "abandons her"

I think the reference to the night is just used to create a mood of darkness, sadness or emptiness, like the sky that only has a few stars but is mainly darkness. The third line, then, portrays her feelings of loss and the fourth line announces her desire because the person is like thirst: more than a desire, it is a need that bugs you and can be disruptive if it is not fulfilled.
