I don't really get a "fever" but my body does heat up quit a lot, when I've had food poisoning, form past experiences. I also feel really "clammy" too.

Food poisoning wouldn't have sniffles, sneezing, or sinus problems like a flu.
You dont necessarily have to have those while being infected with the flu.
