Yes, to a term. but if there saying "you needa be grateful im fighting for you", i dont think its right, because that does not mean "I should respect someone "in army/navy/ ect if there going to say that.. 'Someone who fights in the army, defends there country, no matter what its citizen's think of them. and does not demand respect, but earns it.. through what they do.

Respecting anyone in a certain career title is retarded, even if they are walking to their deaths for our country.
