Yesterday I used a redeem code that came with Halo 3: ODST, the code is supposed to give me 48 hours of free Xbox Live Gold.  The code said it worked when I entered it, however, it didn't really work (atleast not completely).  I still can't access most (if not all) Xbox Live Gold features, including (but not limited to) the Left 4 Dead 2 demo.  Whenever I try to do anything, it says "you must have an Xbox Live Gold account to do this".  Also, when I log into my Xbox 360, it says Silver Membership under my name.  Have I been ripped off by Microsoft, or what?
