I've been getting these cortizone shock treatments on my wrist the past couple of weeks, and basically what they do is stick a pad on my wrist and a ground pad on my upper arm. The pad on my wrist has liquid cortizone injected in the pad that faces down. And there's two wires on the metal things on the top of each pad that look like one of those things you use to start up a car. And they send these shocks that make my finger twitch and my whole arm feel all tingly and shit and it hurts. Everytime I take the pad off I have a bunch of little white dots all over the area. They go away after a few hours but I can feel the indentations where they were and its scarring over.
Is this completley weird? The physical therapist said its just a reaction my skin is having the cortizone but its freaking weird and it itches and looks way worse than it normally does, and I don't go back until Thursday or Friday.
Can anyone find me an Internet link about it?
