Well, long story short here is what happened. I live in a different city then this kid now but at that point we talked on the phone every night and he had been good friends with a lot of my friends. He has a habit of saying stuff didnt happen to make himself look good or whatever and I knew that he tended to try and do that. Then I get a call from him and he is really agitated and he says that some of HIS friends were really really mad at him, and they werent close friends of his, he had only known them for like a month, and they werent close friends of mine, i had only met ONE of them one time, but they had told him he had raped a girl. So i asked him what happeend and he said that he had been at a party and this girl got really wasted, and he had met her a couple of times and she said she was a lesbian. He has a thing against lesbians for various other reasons and when she got wasted she apparently flirted with him and they had sex. He was completely sober. He told me all this then added on that she had come on to him, and it was all stuff she wanted. Then i hear from this other girl, who knew them and who was in one of my classes that the girl was really depressed again and that she was freaking out and she hadnt meant to have sex and she didnt really remember a whole lot because she was that drunk. I dont think a sober person can have sex with a drunk person, especially a drunk person who had proclaimed that 1. they were only interested in sex with women and 2. is drunk enough to black out and such, and who later is really depressed and suicidal about it and not call it rape. Especially because he hadnt had ANYTHING to drink. I would have been more inclined to believe him if he had been drinking, but he was sober. *shrug* i think that explains it, but it is a bit complex to put into words here.
