ok so this guy lives in another city I've never meet him him but we've known each other for a while now and we've been "talking" all my friends say not to go out with him because he doesn't live in my city so I'll never really get to see him...but I don't know I really like him..what do you think I should do??...

I think you should meet him under very safe circumstances first. By safe circumstances I mean, meet him in a public place, with friends and don't agree to go anywhere alone with him.
