It's normal. A lot of parents have little to no experience with babies. My son was the first baby I ever held, first diaper I ever changed, everything. It was crazy awkward the first while, for both of us. They get the hang of it eventually and relax. 
My daughter was the same. I got the hang of it after the first week or two. But she was so tiny I was scared that I would hurt her. And mabey your so used to newborns because your around them all the time. Unlike new parents. Thats why there called NEW parents.
No, they're called new parents because they're new to parenting  I babysat many newborns and volunteered at a aycare in the newborn room an was still twitchy with Jay.
That was the same point that I was trying to make.

I might be, but I doubt it since I have been around so many new borns. I have worked in the nursery etc. To mamamockingbird, it may feel like the nurse is judging you because they look at the baby constantly, but that is only because it's hard to not look at a newborn...lol
They are so cute.
I think it had something to do with the fact that I was 16 and looked younger. And the fact that one of the nurses did make a nasty comment to me.

I did. I flipped my shit when the doctor came in. I don't know if they fired her or just kept her away from me but I haven't seen her since.
