When people say you're acting ghetto it means that you're acting like the stereotypical black person that can be seen on tv as loud, obnoxious, etc.

I don't look at it being a term of endearment or a positive thing to say about someone and I certainly don't believe that being ghetto makes a black person black. -.-

ok so apparently im a black white girl. i dont get it, i just thought having dark skin made me black and now i gotta act black in order to be portrayed as black? just because i talk proper so people can understand me that makes me white? im an educated black person and even if i wasnt i talk like i have sense. i just dont understand the whole black and white, ghetto and proper thing. maybe its just me, my friends call me the black paris hilton but i think thats more of the whole ditzy thing, still though, can someone explain what ghetto means?? it apparently has about 500 definitions, i guess its how i act, but i dont act like anything im just me and though i try not to pay attention to what is going on and what is said about me being the way i am. it just urkes(lol) a little y'know, i mean if this is being said then how are black people actually seen? as loud ignorant people? i mean shouldnt that be an insult to me and my people? my people meaning the african american race and isnt it an even bigger insult to a white person? a black person being seen as one of them? all this racist shit is like so fuckin annoying. scratch that, rewind, people are just so fuckin annoying but i guess thats life huh
