Is it normal to not have nicotine cravings when on codeine cough syrup? I usually smoke around 3/4 of a pack a day, but since I started taking it around 5 pm yesterday I haven't had a single craving to smoke.

Hmm thats weird but it's not good to smoke when your sick so maybe it does help..

It is weird, given codeine acts on the mu opioid receptor and nicotine acts on the acetylcholine receptor. But, the brain is complicated, so I am sure there is a relationship there.
