Believe me the pain is often confused. Seeing as I have already had mine removed. None the less in most cases stomach pains are nothing to be too worried about. Probably a ruptured ulcer or something.
how the hell is it possible to confuse STOMACH pain with APPENDICITIS?? They are like 3802 KM away from each other. intestinal pain, yes. that's what happened to my mom. but not Stomach pain. Maybe to someone who is really REALLY not knowledgeable about basic human anatomy..
When you have appendicitis it puts pressure on all surrounding organs. Its not a centralized pain, it feels like your whole entire stomach region is being stabbed with a hot AIDS infested knife. Shit sucks. I am telling you this from personal experience. I had my appendix removed 2 or 3 years ago. Good story if you are interested.

i still think you're confusing the intestines with the stomach...
the stomach is riight under your lungs. it can't possibly hurt your stomach when you have appendicitis.
It does. The appendix swells puts pressure on the small intestine which in turn puts pressure on the stomach.
