Why is it that "GLBT ally" is a sexuality choice?  It's defined in the FAQ as:

A member who selects "GLBT Ally" as his/her sexuality is one that supports the rights of Gays, Lesbians, Bisexuals, and the Trans-gendered, but is not necessarily one him/herself.

In that regard I'd define myself as a GLBT Ally.

But that's not my sexuality, surely.  Being a GLBT Ally, as the definition implies, is independent of your own actual sexuality.

So why is it a sexuality choice when it clearly isn't a position of sexual orientation?
