To the OP: Like everyone said, you can't know what it'll feel like for you until you try it.
And also, I had already ripped/lost/whatever my hymen, and sex still hurt like hell for like the first 3 or 4 times. Sorry to be the bearer of possibly bad news, but that's not really too much of an indication of how much it will hurt.
However, if you love the guy, it won't be so bad. Like I didn't really think it hurt until afterwards when I'd be like damn... haha. Because it's still emotionally enjoyable during, you know?

If you haven't had vaginal intercourse they are not going to an internal vaginal exam. Regardless of age.
An internal examination is not the only thing they do.

I had an internal exam before I had ever had sex.

It's different for everyone. Some hurt a lot, some hurt a little, some don't hurt at all. Just be sure your well lubricated, and relax, and that you just enjoy it. Those three things are the most important.
