My boyfriend is staying round his friends tomorrow night, he said he got invited so is staying round. Boys, i want to know why do you like staying round your friends, just you two? If your girlfriend invited you to meet, but you were already seeing your friend, why would you see you friend? What's so great about you and your friend sitting in together? Please enlighten me..

Sometimes they like to hang out with their friends too.  I'll be honest, I kind of get annoyed when my boyfriend hangs out with his friends instead of me sometimes--but I get over it, because at the end of the day he's still my boyfriend and we'll just hang out another time.  It's okay for him to have his friends time too, otherwise they start to feel suffocated.

If my boyfriend ever broke plans with a friend because I had asked him to just hang out with me, I would be pissed.  I wouldn't treat my friends that way, I wouldn't want to be treated that way, and I woudlnt' expect him to treat his friends that way.  Unless there's a very good reason for breaking the plans, I think it's a huge disrespect to someone that you want to consider a friend.

As for what they want to do?  Everyone is different.  Why do two girls hang out together?  Why do friends hang out together?  Why does there have to be a "specific reason" rather than just wanting to hang out and maybe catch up on each other's lives?

Or maybe his friend was having some trouble and your bf is going to talk to him about some things.

That's a hard gamble, at least for me. See if my girlfriend and my best friend both asked me to hang out with them and stay over on the same night, I would be hard pressed to choose.

I'd most likely go for my girlfriend though, because my best friend is like my brother and understands.
