One year ago my best friend made the stupidest choice one can make. He got in the back of a truck when everyone(including the driver) had been drinking. Truck went on the wrong side of the road and flipped. Killed everyone. It's hard to believe it's been a full year. I still remember getting the text and then the call. I still expect him to call me at midnight like he aways did and talk about random ass funny shit and play guitar. It's worse bacause the week it happened I was planning a road trip to visit him. God I miss his crazy ass. Just had to get that off my chest. I dont really talk to anybody about it.

I used to take care of a patient who was hit by a drunk driver. Ever since that night of the accident, he has been fully paralyzed from neck to toe; the doctors were able to fix his hand and re-attach the skin to his face.
That drunk driver is sitting his ass in jail for life.
