It's almost that time again. I tend to switch my conditioner pretty much every time I run out. I need a deep conditioner, something for really curly, kinky, coarse hair. I have a leave in conditioner, but I'd like a regular one, too.

Brands I've tried are:

Artec
Humectin extreme moisture conditioner
Neutrogena Triple Moisture Conditioner
Aussie
Outrageous

I'd prefer something without silicone in it, because they weigh my curls down so much.

Switching your conditioner probably isn't great.
Also it seriously doesn't matter if your conditioner costs £7 or £1 - Alberto Balsam are a lot better than Charles Worthington

I use tresemme and I love the way my hair turns out, but don't listen to my opinion because I like my hair to be straight.

Why not? I know it's good to switch shampoos every once in a while, but didn't see any harm in trying a new conditioner when I've run out.  And I'm not looking for something expensive. I'm looking for something that will work for my hair, be it cheap or expensive.

Treseme
Or Pantene Pro-v

I like them. I don't know how good they are for curly hair though   But my Mum has curly hair and uses them too.

I hear good things about Treseme, but Pantene is a no-no brand because it's got waxy silicone that builds up on your hair.

I dont know if it fits your requirements, but I love John Freida. Especially their Root Awakening line - I would swear by it.

Tressemé is terrible..

Why?

Everyone I know that uses it has what appears to be a thin layer of grease on their hair.

OP, try Schwartzkopf repair stuff

http://www.dooyoo.co.uk/hair-care/schwarzkopf-gliss-hair-repair-liquid-silk-gl   oss-conditioner/1214344/

Remove the spaces

Best conditioner I have ever used, a tiny little bit will make people ask what you have done differently to your hair (it did for me and the others I recommended it to)

Also by Schwartzkopf, a leave in conditioner of the same brand thing. Both are good.

They also do a series of balms that are good for curls or, for straight hair, there's Asia Straight balm in a purple container thing. Pretty good. Their shampoos are not great, though.

Then it's probably got silicone in it, too@Treseme.

I've heard of this stuff, I'll look into it, thanks for the suggestion!

Also, don't try any of Toni And Guy's stuff, it's really, really shit.
Infact I will list the shit conditioner brands I know of:
The new Herbal Essences (I don't know what they changed, but they are shit now, whereas the old conditioners were the best things ever <3)
Tresemmé anything
Aubrey
Aussie (their styling sprays are good)
Neutrogena
Paul Mitchell
Charles Worthington (with one exception, the pink volumising one is great)
Clairol
Wella

uuhh there are probably more
