so i work at a grocery store. i'm a cashier. anyways about a month ago i asked if i could be trained on courtesy (customer service desk.) i have experience on courtesy from another grocery store i used to work at. anyways they said they would definitely consider me. then i find out that they are training 3 other people on courtesy next week. and these people are aren't qualified for courtesy at all and they aren't even responsible. they slack off, and one of my friends is being trained for courtesy and she always calls in sick. it's retarded i have actual experience and i think it's unfair. would this piss you off? do you think i should talk to them? if so what should i say?

Is this a Sobey's superstore sort of thing or are you talking about a small grocery store?
First of all, maybe you didn't talk to the right person or they forgot to tell somebody else. Try again, again, again. Usually, in the stores I worked at anyway, if you had experience, they basically asked you to train right away. Weird :S
