Regardless of where we stand on the health care bill which will cost well over $1 trillion, does ANYONE really believe it will be deficit neutral (or even reduce the deficit) over ten years as we are being told?

I'm curious because I don't think I've talked to anyone who honestly believes that.  Even the supporters I've talked to don't believe it, but they say it really doesn't matter as long as everyone who wants health care can get it.

All this will do is make the government be the insurance company. This will give the insurance company the power to pass laws and raise taxes.

It will be a nightmare scenario.

By, deficit neutral, you mean that it won't affect the deficit?  I believe that it will affect the deficit, but I don't know if it will be a pos or neg affect.

Deficit neutral means that legislation pays for itself over a certain period of time (e.g., tax increases in legislation that would offset the legislation's expenditures).

We are being told that this bill is deficit neutral, and may even reduce the deficit.  But I haven't met anyone who actually believes that.

I say it'll have a negative effect on the deficit for middle and lower class.
Even though Obama claims he wants change for everyone.
Oh there'll be change.
It won't be good change -.-

Any proof to back up that statement?
