Hello.

I have asthma. When I was tiny, I used to have BAD asthma attacks, until about 10, and then it got slowly better.

Right now, I have like zero symptoms of asthma. I haven't used my inhaler in YEARS, and it's so out of date, the inhaler I checked yesterday, it says 2001.

OKay just a question then:

Asthma doesn't really go away does it?
I mean, I live in an excellent environment here, which helps so much, and having no animals or pets helps even better.
But I still have deficient lungs don't I?

Yeah, you can "outgrow" it now because in the teens there is a rapid growth of the lungs, so it gets better.

But say you get bronchitis when you're an adult, asthma can come back easily.
I know THAT as a fact.

Apparently it can go away and even reoccur again, I still have it. I just need to get a bad cold or flu and I can feel the affect on my lungs. For the most part I don't need my inhalers though.

Like to have them around encase I need them, I'd rather have them encase I have an attack.

I was in the same condition as you.
It's gone.
It can go away.

And can it never come back?

But even if there are no symptoms, the lungs are always deficient right?

This is important cos I play the sax, and I need to learn how to breath properly and longer, my teacher thinks that my lungs are permitting it.

Scracth what I said.
When I walk for long periods of time I always have to stop and take big breaths.
So it does still affect your breathing.
But what do I know?

I'm pretty sure it never goes away, just has periods of time when it flares up worse.
