There's this girl whom I've been getting to know better lately. She knows my friends as well, as we were all introduced at the same time. Anyway, there's this random event on campus (info session about social entrepreneurship), and for some reason, she only invited me. There's no particular reason why she should think that I should be interested in this more than anybody else. And from looking at the invited guest list, she didn't send out a mass invite to everybody she knew: I think it was just me.

Am I reading too much into this? Or is she kinda hoping to see me there?

I hav 2 agree wit helloworld u r overanalyizin the situation... if u r interested in her, go 2 the event expectin nothin and c how it goes. most women feel its beneath them 2 ask a guy out so they come up wit creative ways of gettin u away from ur friends and into their comfort zone. if u feel this event is important 2 her, go as a supportive friend. it will at the very least allow her 2 feel more comfortable around u, which is the first step towards something more. good luck
