If a person of your own group uses disparaging words in context as a form of self-mockery, this does not have the same effect as when someone of another group uses the same words.
As an example a Frenchman calling a German "sale boshe" during the war does not have by any means the same effect as 2 germans using this term among themselves for fun.
Any person of some modicum of intelligence would have figured this out and not need ask the question again and again.
