pffft O_O I surely wouldn't say it's "not hard" . I've never run the 8 in a meet, so I can't talk about that, but really, I think every race is hard if you run it to the best of your ability. The best runners i've seen run the 400 all out- it is a sprint. But a lot of times, you see runners kinda pacing themselves til' the last 200, then they have like a kick in the end (me  ). If you sprint a 400 all out from beginning to end, and still can call it easy, kudos to you.

I'm just sayin. Compared to other races and how I run them (I run the 400 almost just like you), the 400 is a joke. And because there's only one lap it doesn't take a toll on you like other races do. It's like GAH. AIR. [5 seconds later] ok. I'm good. Other races will have you falling on the ground, blacking out, etc

haha, not for me. I'm more like *waits for charley horse*. But I only get them at night when I'm asleep O_o. Every race is hard in it's own way. Like I think the 1600 and up is crazy. All those people you have to find a way to get past? I couldn't do it O_O. Like I said, it's all about how much effort you put in.
