I suggest some of Meg Cabot's adult fiction. Such as Boy meets girl or boy next door.

I just finished reading Loose Girl, which is a nonfiction.

Another book that I am hoping to get around to read is History of Love and Marley and Me.

The History of Love blew me away.

Well, the first time, it did. When I reread it, it wasn't as special, but it was still good. Highly recommended, though.

Flowers for Algernon - I read and loved this... I've seen both the movies of The Beach and Captain Corelli's Mandolin and that always puts me off reading books just because I already know the story.
