As for that statement, that's not true at all.  People do recover from bulemia.  It's a behavioral disorder.  Behavioral disorders are possible to fix.  You don't have some sort of physical or mental defect that is never going to get better.  It might be hard to get past, but that doesn't make it impossible.

I don't want to sound harsh or anything...but 5 years isn't forever.  In the long run...5 years is a fraction of your whole life.  Yes, you've been dealing with this for a while.  But that does NOT mean you will forever.

And stop putting all the blame on yourself for this.  It's something that is affecting you and that you need to stop.  But it doesn't make you a bad person, or weak, or anything else.  It's a part of who you are but not all that you are.

My mum was watching some programme about eating disorders on the Russian TV today and they were like, girls with Bulimia never get better.

So she goes to me, stop trying to give yourself a problem, you heard them, they said no one ever recovers from Bulimia!

I didn't have the heart to tell her that I've had this fucking thing for 5 years

I thought I was fine, but I'm sitting here on the verge of tears because I think they may be right. I'm not thin and I'm destroying myself. I can not eat for a week, but then I break and spend the weekend pigging out and all that effort and weight goes out of the window.

And I have no one to blame for this but myself. I always fuck everything up. I have to take responsibility for this, because no one MADE me do this. I can't actually remember where this started. My aunt told me stories of me being a really picky eater when I was a baby; hiding to avoid eating, feeding my food to the dog and so on  

And then I think, hey, I DESERVE this, and my thoughts start screaming and I can't stop shaking and breathing becomes difficult and I want to throw stuff around and get rid of this frustration, but I CAN'T.

So, I shall stamp it down, cry tonight if I must, and wake up tomorrow and smile and drink my coffee, and go to college and start again.

I don't think there's any point to this post, unless anyone can tell me how to breathe properly again?

hs soccer i work my ass of all season save our butts so many times (im goalie btw) was a big part in us making to to play offs for the first time in 8 years and me and the other goalie (who only played one game cuz i was sick) are the only ones who didnt make a district team. ever two girls who only saw the team in preseason made it
