i answer the phone and he's giving me demands and i'm telling him i'm not quite sure what he means by covering something or whatever and he got all pissy with me and was yelling at me over the phone like i did something wrong.

i just asked a bloody question.

so i say, "when you come home, don't have an attitude, and i won't either".

he says, "i have an attitude and nothing's going to change that now"

why can't he just let it go?? it's not even a big deal, and why let some small frustration ruin your day.

now i'm super friggin ticked off and i'm trying to like calm down, but he's such a prick right now.

any advice on how to NOT be a bitch to him when he gets in??

If he's still in a bad mood, then you should try your best to calm him down. He's your fiancee - you should know what calms him down. If he snaps at you, or shouts, just try and calm him. Pretty soon, when he realises that you're not shouting or snapping back, he'll get embarrassed and apologise.

Although there's no way that I could know for sure, it was probably something else that gave him such a short temper with you. Not understanding something shouldn't really get him angry, and that's why I think there was something else. Ask him about his day, and he might open up to you. I'm sure if he does that, and you comfort him, he'll apologise for the way he acted on the phone.
