it's not just about how much you enjoyed it, i think
good movies seem to hold a microcosm in them because they're larger than life. and the complexities it encapsulates are so present that i don't have to think about them separately
the bad movies just fragments into 'plot' and 'sentimental templates' and 'logic' and 'values' and all of that stuff because it doesn't add up and it runs on cliches that aren't automated in my head
so it strains my mind trying to pretend it's acceptable
but the people who do make it work, im glad they're around somewhere in the world or i'd be a lot more obnoxious

Nah i've watched tons, I enjoy loads of movies immensely but there are only a handful that I could watch time and time again because they just got everything right. If you think otherwise then opinion counts for a certain amount but I would more lean towards the feeling that your standards are a lot lower than mine.
