I get the closing shift at my job, which often means that I have to put a delivery away. Many, many times I've worked hours of unpaid overtime just to get it done. The other day my boss tells me not to worry about staying longer if it doesn't come in. I offered to stay but she said not to worry about it.

It didn't come in that night, and I went home like she said. The next morning I come in, and apologize, for the inconvenience, not for leaving like she said, and she just was, you could tell, she didn't even have to say anything, the way she was talking to me, she was pissed at me about it. Despite the fact that she ordered me to go home.

I thought that maybe I was just imagining this, but today I find out she cut my hours down for next week, presumably as some kind of punishment. Did she set me up here? I mean, am I just paranoid? I never trusted my coworkers, but I never thought my boss might try to take me out.

She definitely set you up there or more realistically was having a bad day or facing a bad experience that made her completely forget about comments made the night before.
It's interesting how above you mention that you work a lot of over-time unpaid - in the UK that is basically illegal and if you are in ownership of any proof/evidence you could actually force legal action against her, or maybe just to scare her.

What ever the issue is, this lady has no right to backtrack on comments made previously and reducing your hours just tops it all off.
If she is not giving you an opportunity to defend your case than clearly the problem is a lost worse and legal action may be vital to resolve such a conflict. Otherwise, try finding another job.

All the best!
